Business Challenge  Conceptualize and design a board game to teach high school students and teachers about environmental justice that is educational, fun, and meets the needs of my client the Environmental Defense Fund. 

Design Solution  Prototyped and iterated design of game board, Character Cards, Life Happens Cards, instruction manual, and game box cover. Conducted comprehensive user testing to gather valuable insights and refine game mechanics.

Players choose one of the four Character Cards, which illustrates differing environmental, economic, and health impacts based on their socio-economic neighborhoods. 

Business Challenge  Design a creative museum space for a new video art exhibition at the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art.

Design Solution  Designed an improved exterior museum entrance and new exhibition signage, which led to an optimized pedestrian pathway from the museum entrance through the art exhibit. Designed new seating. Designed sound barrier wall.

Business Challenge  Design a seat that can accommodate two purposes. 

Design Solution  Designed and prototyped two benches that could be nested. The taller bench was for adult seating. The shorter bench was for child seating or alternatively could be used for an adult footstool.

Business Challenge  Design a unique bookend to hold a stack of books. 

Design Solution  Designed and prototyped a bookend suggesting a person curled up reading. The bookend design incorporated a base and side sleeve for additional structure and strength.

Business Challenge  Design a suite of three complementary pieces of furniture that can accommodate two or more people. 

Design Solution  Designed and prototyped a two-person bench, a small table, and a decorative privacy screen. The furniture suite was inspired by a slow relaxed Sunday morning spent chatting with a friend, or alternatively provides a standup desk for easy going productivity on a laptop. The furniture suite can be enjoyed either indoors or in a garden setting.
